Richard is the managing director for the R.A. Howard Group.  A passionate builder, he is the third generation of Howard in the family business.

With a passion for building he started working for the company when he left school in 1991, labouring and surveying and studying at the CITB college at Bircham Newton on a Building Technician course gaining a BTEC ONC in building studies.

He joined AMEC in 1993 studying BTEC HNC in building studies and gaining a BSC Hons in Quantity surveying. He worked on various projects from housing to commercial developments shops, factories, prisons and offices.

In 2001 he joined Mansell working on various housing association developments then returned to the company in 2003 managing the family business. Richard is now Managing Director of the company.
